How embarssing! To think I started this blog on May 20th and am finally posting something again in July!
Why is that?
In June I indulged in a biology class, no small feat either. Instead of the normal semester of four months I decided to complete the course in five weeks! To the press I would release this statement only—“It was a whirl wind of which I know what I know, and know what I don’t.”
July has been one great Barrel Depot event after another! If you haven’t installed at least one barrel I can only ask WHY NOT?!

On the Fourth of July we had the awesome opportunity as Blue Thumb partners to welcome Alexandria Cousteau and National Geographic to Powderhorn Park in Minneapolis for a Rain Garden Tour with Metro Blooms. What an amazing day! We Minnesotan’s take our bodies of water seriously and have been noticed. Featured above are some pictures and links below from the event:

We have also been traveling the US dropping barrels to customers at various Farmer’s Markets and in association with fundraisers.

Come see us at the Great Minnesota Get Together, the State Fair August 26 to September 6, 2010.
Save a raindrop!
Will you help us reach our goal of 1000 barrels out and colleting rain water? By doing so you will help reduce runoff and recycle 1,430,000 gallons of rain water! WOW! What an impact we can make together! (This is a conservative estimation)
Watch for news of our Barrel Tour.
